Dymna Lotva blends doom and post-black metal, occasionally adding dsbm and folk elements. Due to the use of true stories in their lyrics, the musicians’ style has been called „documentary metal.”

Dymna Lotva was formed as a studio project by composer Yauhen Charkasav and vocalist Katsiaryna Mankievich in 2015 in Minsk, Belarus. Their debut LP, „The Land Under the Black Wings: Swamp,” was released in 2016. A year later, their second album, „Wormwood,” dedicated to the Chernobyl disaster, was released. Dymna Lotva soon became one of the most active live metal bands in Belarus.

In 2020, the musicians openly supported the protests against the dictatorship. As a result, all Dymna Lotva concerts in Belarus were banned in the summer of 2021. The vocalist fled to Ukraine to avoid imprisonment. She encountered the Russian invasion in Irpin. It wasn’t until late 2022 that the musicians were able to reunite in Warsaw.

In August 2023, their third album, „The Land Under the Black Wings: Blood,” was released by the German label Prophecy Productions. It is a conceptual album about war and occupation.

In the fall of 2023, the band returned to the stage at Prophecy Fest with a new lineup gathered in Poland.

Mörk Gryning stands as a shrine to the raw, untamed essence of the Swedish black metal genre. Formed in the cold embrace of the ’90s, these dark lords have carved their own path, eschewing trends for a sound that pays homage to the forebears while relentlessly pushing forward.

Ever since the debut album, “Tusen år har gått…”, Mörk Gryning has refused to follow in the footsteps of others and walked their own paths – something which is made very clear on the 2003 release “Pieces of Primal Expressionism”, an experimental and heavy progressive release.

Their latest offering, Fasornas Tid, is a visceral journey through the abyss of the human psyche. With tracks like „Tornet” featuring ferocious guest vocals from C of AVSLUT and „Before The Crows Have Their Feast,” laden with apocalyptic harmonies, the album blends melodic black metal with death metal ferocity. Recorded, mixed, and mastered in Wing Studios by Sverker Widgren, Fasornas Tid delves into themes of inner turmoil, the eternal conflict of good and evil, and the insatiable hunger for self-destruction. It’s a dystopian symphony that harkens back to their iconic Tusen år har gått… era, yet it’s unmistakably a product of now—a battle cry for the forsaken.

Now that they’ve returned, Mörk Gryning are more active than ever. Fasnornas Tid pays a brutal homage to the scene’s raw ferocity and ageless spirit with a dystopian symphony that’s driven by an insatiable hunger for self-destruction.

Vae Solis was formed in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, and has been active in Wrocław, Poland, since 2016. T

he core of the band consists of guitarists who have been with the band since its inception, responsible for the 2020 release of their debut full-length album, „Created In The Dark.” The band is complemented by a vocalist (formerly known from Daemonium, among others) and a Polish rhythm section.

This lineup expansion allowed them to play their first concerts in Poland and resulted in the album „A Path Among Thorns,” which is currently nearing completion. Vae Solis’ music is symphonic black metal, where raw, heavy riffs intertwine with art-rock solos and calm acoustic parts, all complemented by low, death-metal growls and clean vocals.
